Hot Udon Bowl
This cold weather calls for hot udon!
Equipment
- Saucepan
- Mixing Bowl
- Cutting Board
- Tongs
- Medium sized pot
- Coconut Bowl
Ingredients
- Vegetable Broth
- Butternut Squash
- Broccoli
- Carrots
- Spinach
- Mushrooms
- Red Bell Pepper
- Green Onions
- Ground sesame
- Udon Noodles
Instructions
- Take the Broccoli, Carrots, Peppers, Mushrooms, Spinach, and Green Onions, and cut them up into small bit sized pieces.
- Combine the veggies in the previous step in a saucepan, while adding vegetable broth and sauté for 5 minutes, or until semi cooked.
- In a pot, fill with 4 cups of water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce to low heat and add the udon noodles. Allow to simmer while stirring occasionally.
- Wait roughly 8 minutes for noodles to cook and then strain in a strainer.
- Using a tong, add the Noodles to the coconut bowl and add the sautéed veggies.
- Serve with a garnish of ground sesame and enjoy.
